RVing to the CMA Music Festival!

Where Should We Camp?

George Wein's Jazz Festival 55 (Newport Jazz Festival) - August 7 - 9

George Wein's Jazz Festival 55 will be held August 7 - 9 at Fort Adams State Park and the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island. Lollapalooza - August 7 - 9

The Songs of Summer are Here! Rent an RV and go to The Beach Music Festival

There is Hot Fun in the Summer Time Beach Music Festival this weekend (Friday June 12 and Saturday June 13) in Stuart, VA at Wayside Park. Two big days of beach music featuring Marti Gras with Sammy O’Banion, Billy Scott and the Party Prophets, The Band of Oz, The Embers and more.

Camping is available on site and there are over 200 electric hookups. Sounds like a great way to kick off the summer season. An advanced weekend pass is $35 or $45 at the gate. Single day passes for Friday or Saturday are also available. The ticket price does not include the camping fee ($30 per night) or the parking fee ($5) if you come by car.

While your there, you might also want to visit Mt. Airy, NC - 45 min. away.

Step back to a simpler time when you visit Mount Airy. Actor Andy Griffith grew up here, and it's no coincidence that a stroll down Mount Airy's Main Street reminds people of the town of Mayberry from The Andy Griffith Show. Mount Airy, Pilot Mountain, Dobson and Elkin the Communities of Surry County offers something for everyone. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy riding down the breathtaking Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking at Pilot Mountain State Park, or canoeing on the Yadkin River. Bluegrass and traditional music lovers can take in a jam session or live radio show every Saturday morning in Downtown Mount Airy. History buffs can delve in to the area's colorful past at the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History and by visiting the county's myriad of historic sites. Taste fine wines and tour the grounds of Old North State Winery located on Main Street in Mount Airy, North Carolina. Mount Airy is also located in the Yadkin Valley Wine Region home to over 24 Wineries.
