• Washington's Headquarters State Historic Site: Newburgh, located in southern New York State, is home to the estate where George Washington made some of the most important decisions of the Revolutionary War.
  
• Fort Ticonderoga: On the southwest shore of Lake Champlain, within six-million-acre Adirondack Park, you'll find historic Fort Ticonderoga. Learn how Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys caught the sleeping British Troops off-guard and captured the Fort in 1775.
