A unique place to visit with your RV rental is the Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie. This area is to be restored to what it was like in the early days on the plains. Currently there are miles of trails for biking, hiking and riding horses.

Lake Michigan and the Illinois River provide much of the outdoor water recreation that El Monte RV’s customers love. However, you will also find beautiful lakes all around such as Cedar Lake, Heidecke Lake, Lake Calumet and Wolf Lake. You can also enjoy the Mississippi River not far away to the west.
