Bellingham, Washington:  When you start your RV journey in Bellingham, Washington, leave time to drive the fabulous Mount Baker Highway! Voted “Trail Town USA” by The American Hiking Society, this bayside city offers hundreds of hiking possibilities, as well. We know you’ll be anxious to get on the road, but don’t drive away too quickly from Bellingham!

Victoria, British Columbia:  Did you know that some of the best produce in the world can be found on Vancouver Island? When you’re camped in Victoria, British Columbia, don’t miss the chance to sample local organic produce! A gourmet’s delight, Victoria offers travelers a wonderful smorgasbord of cider mills, cheese shops and restaurants to visit. Your appetite’s going to be glad you rented an RV and hit the road for Victoria!

Banff National Park, British Columbia:  You may have seen the beautiful Rockies in Colorado, but the spectacular Canadian Rockies will take your breath away! Your rented motorhome will be your ticket to some of the most amazing scenery in North America when you travel to Banff National Park. Don’t forget your camera—the wildlife easily seen near Lake Louise will capture any photographer’s eye. From the Icefields Parkway to quaint Alpine villages, Banff has something to thrill everyone in your family!

Mount St. Helens, Washington:  The site of America’s most recent volcanic activity has been transformed into a world-class learning opportunity. The Mount St. Helens National Monument offers visitors the chance to hike, climb, and study firsthand the aftermath of the 1980 volcanic eruption. If natural history is your passion, plan to camp in your RV in one of the many campgrounds in the vicinity and spend at least a day discovering the awesome power of this active volcano.

Mendocino, California:  This lovely coastal town will enchant the most jaded traveler! Rest your eyes in the beauty of America’s only oceanfront botanical gardens. Book some time at one of the area’s many day spas. Stroll the coastline and visit one of their famous lighthouses. Your heart will be glad you visited Mendocino! Just an hour north of this itinerary’s final stop in San Francisco, Bodega offers your family the chance to explore the wonders of the Pacific.
