Criteria for Choosing Epic Pacific Northwest Hikes

RV Rentals for Summer

Yosemite Falls Trail

You will love seeing the highest waterfall in North America by hiking along the Yosemite Falls Trail in Yosemite National Park. This hike begins in the Camp 4 Area. Enjoy a picnic at Columbia Rock, where you can see Yosemite Valley, Half Dome and Sentinel Rock as you cross the switchbacks on the way to the top of the waterfall. This trail is best hiked in the spring as the most water is rushing over the waterfall at that time. There are numerous campgrounds in Yosemite Valley

Boy Scout Tree Trail

Get a first-hand view of the giant redwood trees in Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park by hiking along the Boy Scout Tree Trail. This trail is easy to follow because it is 4 to 6 feet wide in most places. Along the way, you will pass Fern Falls, which is a beautiful waterfall. Camping is available in the park and there are more options immediately to the south in Redwood National Park

Pacific Northwest Motorhome Rentals

Moments in Time Hike

The Moments in Time Trail is a self-guided nature trail around Lake Crescent. This lake at Olympic National Park is gorgeous because there is very little nitrogen in Lake Crescent, so the water is extremely clear. This hike is only 0.6 miles long. There are at least six campgrounds at this national park.

Sahale Glacier Trail

Sahale Glacier Trail at North Cascade National Park is a strenuous trail, but if you are able, this high-elevation trail is the perfect place to escape the summer heat. Snow stays in places on this trail through most of the summer. There are several campgrounds in the national park.

You can enjoy these California, Oregon and Washington summer travel locations when you complete motorhome rental with El Monte RV. Trust them t provide the best options for your next RV rental.
