IT Support Specialist - Santa Fe Springs, CA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance either in person, over the phone, or via email
  • Diagnose and resolve basic technical hardware and software issues
  • Perform Windows Updates and Patching as well as proactive maintenance
  • Perform desktop, printer, network troubleshooting and support both in-house and remotely
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Record events and problems and their resolution
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
  • Stay current with system information, changes, and updates
  • Other projects and duties as directed by management


  • Associates or Certification in IT, Computer Science or relevant work experience
  • 2 years working in an IT support capacity preferred
  • Knowledge of Windows desktop (Win 7-10) and server (2008-2016) OS required
  • Knowledge of MS Hyper-V, Active Directory, anti-virus software, file share server management, VOIP systems
  • Working knowledge of networking and network administration such as IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, etc
  • Customer service oriented and able to handle multiple tasks
  • Proficient in general computer skills (MS Office, PDF, Visio, Access, web browsers, etc)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office 365 preferred, MS D365 knowledge a big plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to occasionally work a flexible schedule that will require some evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Some travel (2-4 times/month) to branch locations and our sister company in Agoura Hills, CA may be required.
  • Regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to manipulate, handle or feel; reach with hands or arms; and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; and smell.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
