RV Rentals for Bryce Canyon National Park
Bryce Canyon National Park in Southwestern Utah offers RV campers breathtaking scenery, picturesque campgrounds and year-round vacation memories. We make it easy for you to visit Bryce Canyon by offering streamlined motorhome rentals, assistance making campground reservations, and tips for crafting the perfect RV vacation.
Your First Visit to Bryce Canyon National Park
If you’ve never visited the Park before, all we can say is, “Have your cameras ready!” The red rock canyons here are populated by “hoodoos”, unique natural towers carved by water and ice. These rock formations stand tall alone or in clusters to create a fascinating landscape unlike any other in America.
Outdoor activities abound at Bryce Canyon, no matter what the season. Park visitors particularly enjoy hiking the canyon trails or joining one of the trail rides led by Park Rangers during spring or summer. In winter, you can rent snowshoes or cross country skis and discover a whole new range of scenic beauty. One note: if you’ve never hiked or skied in the mountains, allow yourself extra time to get used to exertion at 8,000 feet!
America the Beautiful Parks Pass Makes it Affordable
The National Parks Service makes it easy to see Bryce Canyon National Park by offering the America the Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Pass. This annual pass allows free access to many US National Park sites, including Bryce Canyon.
Another way the Parks Service has opened access to more visitors at Bryce Canyon National Park is by providing a free shuttle service that loops through the Park’s most popular areas. Park your motorhome in one of the scenic campsites inside or nearby the Park, and use the shuttle to avoid waiting in long lines of vehicles.
What to See While You’re There
Choosing which canyon to photograph first may be the hardest thing you do at the Park! Here are tips provided by our RV rental customers for places you must see while you’re there:
- Wall Street: hike through narrow slot canyons among rock formations that resemble towering skyscrapers. What a great way to show the kids the awesome power of nature!
- Sunset Point: stop here on the shuttle and gaze across one hundred miles of spectacular scenery! Aquarius Plateau, in particular, is a wonderful photo opportunity at sunset, with red, pink, and orange hoodoos against picture-perfect skies.
- Fairyland Trail: active hikers won’t be disappointed they took the time to hike five mile Fairyland Trail. Be sure to take the side trails to Tower Bridge and Chinese Wall, too!
- Rim Trail: hikers who prefer a less strenuous option should give the Rim Trail a try. Filled with opportunities to view astonishing rock formations first-hand, this two and a half mile trail will keep your camera clicking.
- Queens Garden Trail: families with kids will find this hike through gigantic towers and strangely shaped boulders the perfect way to spend an afternoon.
- Upper Inspiration Point: the view here of Bryce Ampitheater, where hundreds of hoodoos form an “audience”, is one no visitor to the Park should miss.
- Ranger Led Activities: one of the best things about this Park is the wide variety of activities led by Park Rangers. From moonlight hikes to family programs on geology, there’s a free activity for every age group.
