RV Vacation Idea:
Yosemite National Park
California
Yosemite - the name conjures up images like Half Dome and El Capitan, dreams of rock climbing or rafting down the Merced River. John Muir loved this land, and fought hard to preserve it. Ansel Adams made the park famous with his stunning, iconic photography.
There is so much to do and see in this park, that one trip may not be sufficient. Yosemite supports a large variety of plants and animals, and is home to spectacular granite cliffs, alpine meadows, clear streams, stunning waterfalls, and groves of giant Sequoia trees. You'll never lack for something to be in awe of, something to do, or photograph. Whether your passion is hiking, fishing, bird watching, rafting, kayaking or just relaxing, you can find it all in Yosemite National Park.
There are campgrounds within the park, and they are extremely popular. Therefore, they fill up very quickly. Make sure you make your reservation as far as in advance as possible. Check out the page on camping for more information.
The closest El Monte RV rental location is in Fresno, CA. However, if starting your trip from another location is more convenient, we also have many other rental offices, so please visit our locations map to find a location that may be more suitable.

RV Recipe of the Month
Barbeque Meat Roll
Ingredients:
4 lbs ground beef
2 cups oatmeal
4 eggs
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 large sweet onion
1 small green pepper
8 oz. mushrooms
1 garlic clove (crushed)
Ingredients for Barbeque Sauce:
2 8 oz. cans of tomato sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoon corn starch
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon allspice
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
~ Pat meat out on Saran wrap, aluminum foil or a cookie sheet.
~ Use the rolling pin to roll it out to a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
~ Place diced vegetables on top of rectangle.
~ Remove Saran wrap or foil if you used it.
~ Roll meat and vegetables as you would a cinnamon roll.
~ Place in an aluminum foil lined 12 inch Dutch oven, if you had to make a seam in the foil, make sure the seam is down.
~ Bend the meal roll to fit the Dutch oven if necessary.
~ Bake for 15 to 20 minutes and baste with 1/2 of the barbecue sauce.
~ Bake another 15 minutes, and add the remaining sauce.
~ Bake for approximately 1 hour in your camp fire, with coals on top and bottom.
~ Enjoy!

This option is completely voluntary and is a very nominal fee. We encourage you to consider this when booking your trip!
Every cent of this nominal fee goes straight to Terra Pass to fund various carbon-offsetting programs.
