RV Vacation Idea: Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area
Pennsylvania
This extraordinarily beautiful national recreation area offers almost 70,000 acres of sights to see and things to do.
Hiking, fishing, canoeing/kayaking, bird and eagle watching, biking are just some of the activities available.In addition, many historical buildings from the 1700's and 1800's are still standing today.
The closest El Monte RV rental location is in Kingston, PA. However, if starting your trip from another location is more convenient, we also have many other rental offices, so please visit our locations map to find a location that may be more suitable.

RV Recipe of the Month
Mexican Pizza
Ingredients:
1 lb lean hamburger
3 Tbsp taco seasoning
2 large flour tortillas
1 16-oz can refried beans
1 cup chunky salsa
1 cup mozzarella or cheddar cheese, shredded
2 cups lettuce, shredded
2 tomatoes, chopped fine
1/2 cup ripe olives, pitted
Directions:
~Heat skillet and brown hamburger.Drain off all grease.
~Add taco seasoning and mix well.
~ Cook over low heat for five minutes, stirring constantly.
~Place tortillas on a cookie sheet that is covered with foil.
~Spread each tortilla with one-half can of beans, top with one-half of the hamburger, one-half of the salsa and one-half of the cheese.
~Preheat oven to 375 degrees and bake pizzas until cheese is melted and bubbly (about 15 minutes).
~ Top each pizza with one-half of the lettuce, tomatoes and olives.
~ Serve with additional salsa on the side if desired.

You can request the carbon offset option when you reserve via the call center, or when picking up at the rental counter. It's easy, affordable, and every cent of this nominal fee goes straight to Terra Pass to fund various carbon-offsetting programs.
