St. Augustine has a long, rich history. Founded in 1565 by Juan Ponce de Leon, the city has many historical attractions. You'll want to visit the Castillo de San Marcos Fort built in 1672, the St. Augustine lighthouse, and the legendary Fountain of Youth, discovered in the 16th century.
If you're an art lover, you'll want to visit the Lightner Museum. Originally built as a hotel in 1887, it was transformed into an art museum in 1946.
