Maryland RV Campgrounds, RV Parks & Resorts
Maryland, the "Old Line State", is a mid-Atlantic state bordering Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Its major geographic feature is the Chesapeake Bay which nearly bisects the state. It is the largest estuary in the United States.
If you like Civil War history, Maryland is home to the Antietam National Battlefield and the Antietam National Cemetery, both in Sharpsburg. You will also find the Monocacy National Battlefield in Frederick.
For the outdoor loving RV crowd, there is always the Assateague Island National Seashore, or Maryland's section of the Appalachian Trial. Maryland also has more than 50 state parks and forests offering a panoply of outdoor activities to keep even the most intrepid RV camper happy. ...And don't forget Maryland's proximity to Washington D.C....
