They’ve landed on creating a new position – People & Culture Director, North America that will provide leadership for teams in both countries. The position will be based at our CanaDream head office in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and will be expected to travel to our US head office in Santa Fe Springs, CA as well as other stations across both countries.
Responsibilities will include: 
  • Work with Chief People & Capability Officer and global leadership team to: 
  • Develop the HR strategic plan in alignment with the global business strategy. 
  • Implement common practices and frameworks in recruitment, onboarding, retention, training, performance, productivity management and other areas. 
  • Lead, coach, mentor and develop HR team members. 
  • Lead the company compliance with Canadian Provincial and US State specific legislative frameworks. Monitor and implement changes in federal and state / provincial requirements. 
  • Play lead role on DayForce HRIS application in Canada and the US. 
  • With a focus on developing our crew, lead and coordinate training for leaders and crew encompassing, Health, Safety and Wellbeing, technical skills and softskills. 
  • Provide one to one coaching of leaders where appropriate. 
  • Support the development and implementation of global and US & Canadian cultural capability programs.
