Guests traveling from Canada to the USA receive complimentary mileage with their booking, with free mileage allowances ranging from 200 to 1,600 miles, depending on the relocation route.

VIP Coverage reduces the renter's responsibility for covered vehicle damages to $1,500, and protection for covered mechanical breakdowns.

How Cross-Border Works

Pick-up from Canada
Picking Up

CanaDream offers scheduled pick-up times for RV Rentals. At pick-up, you'll sign all necessary documents and be given any extra helpful information for route!

Crossing the Canadian Border
Crossing the Border

You must have proper documentation for all travelers: passports, NEXUS cards, or Enhanced Driver’s Licenses are accepted. Bring RV registration and insurance papers too!

If you are a non-US citizen, you will be asked on outbound plans from the U.S. while crossing the border.

North America Insurance
Dropping Off

Our staff at El Monte RV will be ready to welcome you at drop-off! Standard drop-off hours are 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and upon return, if the RV is in good condition, your security deposit will be released!

Please note this rental is crossing an international border. As part of the border crossing process, you will be required to submit paperwork to authorities. We will provide all required support materials before travel. To ensure we can support you during the process, all border crossing should be planned for a weekday.


Weather dependent, the vehicle may be winterized at pick-up to protect the water line system. This means there will be no access to any of the water features in the vehicle. If travelling to a warmer drop off location, you may choose to de-winterize the RV at your own cost and own risk. We ask that you plan your trip accordingly.
